We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Hickman County, Kentucky. The job is at a residential building site. The role involves raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
