Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Day to day you will check for underground cables and services before digging; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely.
