Shakeout operator — Pike County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Pike County, Alabama. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
