Groundsman — Lyon County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundsman in Lyon County, Iowa. Day to day you will weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
