Immediate opening: lathe operator (Illinois)

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe operator in Iroquois County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills You will clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
