Vacancy available: bar bender and fixer (Ondo State)

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Irele, Ondo State. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites The role involves: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder ₦115,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
