Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Napa County, California. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently You will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge.
