Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Jerauld County, South Dakota. What we are looking for: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills The role involves demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement; replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
