Lorry driver — Jackson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lorry driver in Jackson County, Mississippi. The job is at a busy distribution depot. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid digital tachograph card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence On the job you will handle: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
