Immediate opening: tower crane operator (Enugu State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Enugu South, Enugu State. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Day-to-day duties: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Current medical and eyesight certificate 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
