Immediate opening: injection moulding machine operator (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an injection moulding machine operator in Saint Clair County, Illinois. You will be based in a packaging factory. What we are looking for: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Good attention to detail and steady hands Your main tasks: • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
