Tower crane operator — Carroll County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Carroll County, Iowa. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. The role involves grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
