Now hiring: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Washington County, Vermont. On the job you will handle: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line You should have: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level 5+ years on the tools preferred.
