CNC mill setter-operator wanted in Johnson County

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Johnson County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron The role involves monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
