What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) The role involves lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length.
