Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Smith County, Kansas. Your main tasks: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls What we are looking for: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Full-time with occasional weekends.
