Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Charlevoix County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor The role involves set up and start the machine as per the job card; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine.
