Argon arc welder — Roni

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Roni, Jigawa State. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₦1,300 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
