Lathe operator • Eaton County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe operator in Eaton County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Your main tasks: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
