Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Stephens County, Texas. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Day to day you will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
