Vacancy available: aluminium tig welder (Utah)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Washington County, Utah. You will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
