Foundry labourer wanted in Stanton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Stanton County, Nebraska. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding You will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
