Fabricator-welder — Neosho County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Neosho County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
