Shuttering carpenter — Clay County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Clay County, Mississippi. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking On a typical shift you will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
