Plastering hand — Geneva County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plastering hand in Geneva County, Alabama. You will work at a plastering and dry lining contractor. On a typical shift you will dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
