Oven operator — Nicholas County

Now hiring: we are hiring an oven operator in Nicholas County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Score the top of loaves before baking • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer You should have: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
