Heavy equipment operator — Nassau County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Nassau County, New York. You should have: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) The role involves: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers Full-time, day shift.
