Great opportunity: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Marion County, Illinois. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Your main tasks: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Full-time, day shift.
