Kitchen porter — Polk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Polk County, Minnesota. You will work in a hospital canteen. The role involves wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations. Requirements: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Punctual, reliable and hard-working • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
