Mason's helper — Tyler County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mason's helper in Tyler County, Texas. The job is on a road and bridge project. You will mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
