Construction helper — Scott County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction helper in Scott County, Mississippi. You will be based on a road and bridge project. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it You will fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
