Lifting rigger — Wake County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Wake County, North Carolina. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
