Immediate opening: we are hiring a JCB operator in Pope County, Illinois. You will work on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Day to day you will load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
