We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Mason County, Washington. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. What we are looking for: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Day-to-day duties: • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
