Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Gladwin County, Michigan. You will work on a structural steel site. The role involves run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut.
