Concrete pump mate — Schoharie County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Schoharie County, New York. You will be based on a building construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
