Elevator service technician — Clay County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Clay County, South Dakota. You will work at a busy lift company. On the job you will handle: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota 5+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
