QC technician — Gratiot County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a QC technician in Gratiot County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items. You should have: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts.
