Foundry labourer — Southern Ijaw

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Southern Ijaw, Bayelsa State. On the job you will handle: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
