Join our team: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Giles County, Virginia. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles You will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle.
