Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Smith County, Tennessee. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Own basic hand tools On a typical shift you will cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions.
