Tile mason • Washington County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile mason in Washington County, New York. You will be based at a busy tiling site. The role involves set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling. You should have: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone 6+ years on the tools preferred.
