Dogger — Obio/Akpor

Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Obio/Akpor, Rivers State. Day-to-day duties: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Overtime paid at a premium rate.
