Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Mora County, New Mexico. On a typical shift you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
