On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
