Pipe tig welder — Oregon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Oregon County, Missouri. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Six days a week, one day off.
