Brickwork mason • Butts County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Butts County, Georgia. You will work at a renovation and extension job. The role involves: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
