Urgent requirement: turning centre operator (Oregon)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Sherman County, Oregon. You will be based in a tool room. On a typical shift you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Full-time, day shift.
