Moulder — Marion County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Marion County, Tennessee. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
