TIG welder — Llano County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a TIG welder in Llano County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
